The new four star Armagh City Hotel was the venue for the Special Olympics Northern Ireland May Ball which was attended by over 300 guests last Saturday, May 8 last.  Silver and Bronze achievement awards were presented by Denise Watson, BBC Sports Presenter, to all the hardworking athletes who have successfully participated in the Athlete Leadership Programme ( ALPs), the personal development programme which has been specially designed for those with a learning disability. The May Ball was one of the events arranged to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Special Olympics Northern Ireland.  Following the meal the athletes, volunteers and guests danced the night away to the music of the James Peake Experience.
