On Wednesday, March 31, clubs, schools and centres from Galway/Westmeath/Roscommonn Area will participate in a Special Olympics Swimming Gala in Leisureland Galway. This event is in the advancement cycle so athletes from this Area event will be eligible for selection for Regional Games in 2005.  Athletes will compete in various ability levels ranging from the 10m assisted swim to the 100m swim.
